Yauheni Zalaty
Biography
Yauheni Zalaty, born in 1999 in Krasnapollye, Belarus, is a single sculls rower who won the silver medal in the men's single sculls at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, competing as a Neutral Individual Athlete (AIN).
Zalaty added to his record at continental and world level in 2025. He won the gold medal in the single sculls at the 2025 European Rowing Championships in Plovdiv, and he took the bronze medal in the single sculls at the 2025 World Rowing Championships in Shanghai.
His earlier senior results include a bronze medal in the single sculls at the 2024 World Rowing Cup II in Lucerne. Across these events Zalaty raced as a neutral athlete (AIN) in the men's single sculls, with an Olympic silver, a European title and a World Championship bronze among his results.
