Tristan Vandenbussche
Biography
Tristan Vandenbussche (born 2001) is a Belgian rower from Bruges who competes in the men's single sculls. With Aaron Andries he won gold in the double sculls at the 2022 World Rowing Under-23 Championships in Varese, the first World Under-23 title for Belgium in an Olympic rowing class. The pair also took gold at the 2022 European Under-23 Championships.
His junior results came in the single sculls. Vandenbussche won the men's single sculls at the 2019 European Rowing Junior Championships. At the World Rowing Junior Championships he took silver in the single sculls in 2019 and bronze in 2018.
At senior level Vandenbussche raced with Andries in the double sculls, reaching the A-final at the 2023 European Rowing Championships. In 2025 he competed in the single sculls at the World Rowing Cup in Lucerne and in the double sculls at the World Rowing Championships in Shanghai, racing for Belgium across junior, Under-23 and senior level.
