Jonas Slettemark Juel
Biography
Jonas Slettemark Juel is a Norwegian rower who competes in the men's single sculls. Born in 1999, he won the men's single sculls trophy in the 2025 World Rowing Cup series, finishing third in the A-final at both the Varese and Lucerne regattas to take the overall standings on points.
Juel represented Norway at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in the men's quadruple sculls. The Norwegian crew won the B-final and placed eighth overall in the event.
Juel rowed collegiately for Princeton University, where he competed in the heavyweight programme and served as team captain in his senior year before graduating in 2022. He went on to row for the Norwegian national team. His record through the 2025 season includes the World Rowing Cup single sculls series title and an Olympic appearance in the quadruple sculls.
