2026 World Rowing Indoor Championships, presented by Concept2

The World Rowing Indoor Championships are the flagship indoor title on the calendar, and the 2026 edition gathers ergometer racers in Birmingham, Great Britain. Racing runs from 5 to 6 December 2026, with crews lining up side by side on Concept2 machines inside the arena.

This is indoor rowing in its purest form, racing on the erg over 2000 metres, with the standard distance settling who can hold the pace from the first stroke to the last. The hall format puts rivals on adjacent machines, so split times and body language are read in real time across the floor.
