2026 European Rowing Coastal Championships

The European Rowing Coastal Championships crown the continent's offshore endurance crews. This is the coastal endurance portion of the European week, open to national and select crews, held in La Linea, Spain, on the Bay of Gibraltar, from 17 to 19 September 2026.

Distance racing over open water is a craft in its own right. Crews navigate long courses around offshore marks, managing effort across the swell and choosing lines through the chop. Boat handling in a seaway often matters as much as outright pace.

The Bay of Gibraltar, with its tidal currents and exposed water, is a fitting arena for the endurance title. Crews from rowing nations across Europe line up here for the continental coastal honours.
