2025 World Rowing VERSA Challenge Singapore

Set in Singapore as an in-person meeting, the 2025 World Rowing VERSA Challenge brings indoor racers together on the VERSA machine, a water-style rower with an on-water feel under the catch. The challenge is raced from 29 to 30 November 2025, with competitors side by side on the floor.

The VERSA gives the challenge a distinct character, since its water resistance loads the stroke differently from a flywheel erg and rewards a long, connected drive. Racing in a shared venue rather than from home, entrants feel the room and the pace of the machine alongside them.

As a physical event in the region, the challenge draws Singapore-based crews and visiting indoor rowers to one floor. The water-style format and live arena set it apart from the remote rounds of the indoor calendar.
