Biography

Viktorija Senkute is a Lithuanian (LTU) rower who competes in the women's single sculls. At the 2024 Paris Olympic Games she won the bronze medal in the single sculls, finishing behind Karolien Florijn of the Netherlands and Emma Twigg of New Zealand. The result was Lithuania's first Olympic medal in the event and Lithuania's first medal of the 2024 Games.

Senkute continued in the single sculls at the 2025 World Rowing Championships in Shanghai, where she reached the A-final and placed fourth. She also raced in the single sculls at the 2025 European Rowing Championships in Plovdiv.

Born in 1996 in Trakai, Senkute earlier won a bronze medal in the double sculls at the 2018 European U23 Rowing Championships. Across her career she has built her results around the women's single sculls, with the Paris 2024 Olympic bronze and a fourth place at the 2025 World Championships among her leading finishes.
