Lauren Henry
Biography
Lauren Henry is a British rower from Lutterworth in Leicestershire who learned the sport at Leicester Rowing Club before progressing through the junior and under-23 ranks for Great Britain. She won World Championship gold in the women's quadruple sculls at Belgrade in 2023, then took Olympic gold in the same boat at the 2024 Paris Games, where Great Britain claimed its first Olympic title in the event.
After the Paris Games, Henry moved into the single sculls, a boat she had raced as a younger athlete. She won the women's single sculls title at the 2025 European Rowing Championships in Plovdiv, setting a British record, and took silver in the single at the 2025 World Rowing Championships in Shanghai.
Her career has taken her from junior and under-23 sculling to Olympic gold in the quadruple sculls and World Championship medals in both the quad and the single.
