Giedrius Bieliauskas
Biography
Giedrius Bieliauskas is a Lithuanian rower who competes in the men's single sculls. He won the bronze medal in the single sculls at the 2024 European Rowing Championships in Szeged, Hungary, finishing third behind Oliver Zeidler of Germany and Stefanos Ntouskos of Greece. Earlier in his career he took silver in the single sculls at the 2018 European Rowing U23 Championships in Brest.
Bieliauskas represented Lithuania in the single sculls at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, where he placed tenth overall. At the 2025 World Rowing Championships in Shanghai, he reached the A-final of the single sculls and finished fifth, having won his quarterfinal and placed third in his semifinal.
Born on 27 July 1997, Bieliauskas built his career around the single sculls and was named a reserve for the Lithuanian team at the Tokyo Olympic Games. His record across the single sculls includes a European U23 silver, a senior European bronze, an Olympic appearance and a World Championship A-final.
