Esther Briz Zamorano

Esther Briz Zamorano is a Spanish rower who competes in the women's single sculls. She won the women's single sculls title at the 2017 World Rowing Junior Championships in Trakai, Lithuania. She represented Spain at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games in the women's pair alongside Aina Cid, where the crew won the B final to finish seventh overall. At the 2023 European Rowing Championships in Bled, the pairing of Briz and Cid took the bronze medal.

In the single sculls, Briz raced for Spain at the 2025 World Rowing Championships in Shanghai, where she reached the A final and placed sixth. Her record across the boat spans sculling and sweep events, from junior single sculls through senior international competition for Spain.

Briz was born on 31 January 2000 in Zaragoza, Spain, and rows for the club CN Helios. She studied at Stanford University, where she competed for the Stanford Cardinal rowing programme. Her results for Spain include a junior world single sculls title, a European Championships medal, an Olympic appearance and a sixth-place finish in the single sculls at the world championships.
