Aleix Garcia i Pujolar
Biography
Aleix Garcia i Pujolar is a Spanish rower from Girona, Catalonia, born in 2000. He won a silver medal in the double sculls at the 2022 World Rowing Championships in Racice, partnering Rodrigo Conde. The result was Spain's first openweight men's medal at the World Rowing Championships since 1990.
At European level, Garcia took silver in the double sculls at the 2022 European Rowing Championships in Munich and again at the 2024 European Rowing Championships in Szeged. He also races in the single sculls and the quadruple sculls for Spain.
Garcia and Conde represented Spain in the double sculls at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, reaching the A-final and placing fifth. At the 2025 World Rowing Championships the pair finished fourth in the double sculls, and Garcia placed sixth in the quadruple sculls at the 2025 European Rowing Championships.
