World Rowing have reinstated the Serbian Rowing Federation “as a result of the receipt of financial debits owed”. The World Rowing Executive Committee decided to lift the suspension and reinstall the Serbian Rowing Federation as a member of World Rowing on 22 February 2024.

According to World Rowing, “this decision is enforced with immediate effect. … The Serbian Rowing Federation is now allowed to enter athletes into World Rowing Events, Olympic and Paralympic Qualification and Olympic / Paralympic Games, and participate in the governance of the sport of Rowing in Serbia and internationally.”

The announcement of the original suspension was made on January 23 2024.
