The Oxford Cambridge Boat Race returned to its historic home on the Tideway in London for the first time in three years, and unlike in Ely last year, with a full complement of spectators cheering from the riverbanks. Row360, in its capacity as Official Media Partner for the Boat Race 2022, had exclusive access to the crews throughout the season and come race day was able to photograph the Blue Boat races from the umpires’ launch, while Row360 Deputy Editor Tom Ransley and writer Rachel Quarrell observed from following launches.
